I’ve been invited to join the Board of OATS (Older Adults Technology Services). I’m very flattered to be invited and so excited to be a part of their team.

From their mission statement: OATS engages, trains and supports older adults in using technology to improve their quality of life and enhance their social and civic engagement. Digital technology holds the promise of enriching our lives, strengthening our communities, and improving our health care and services. But for millions of older Americans, technology and the Internet are sources of anxiety and confusion–barriers to participation in the social and economic mainstream rather than resources for independent living. Older Adults Technology Services (OATS) is committed to maximizing the power of technology to help older adults live healthier, more connected, socially engaged lives.
